18 Carat Yellow Gold and Platinum

This fantastic bright and vibrant yellow beryl has a touch of gold in its colour. The beryl weighs 4.01 carat and is held by four triple claws sitting across the finger. The beryl is surrounded by a rectangular cluster of old cushion cut diamonds. The cut of the diamonds circa 1830 suggests they were taken from a much larger piece. The diamonds totalling 0.85 carat are grain set in platinum with a millegrain finish. The gallery has pierced decoration. The tapering shoulders have a lovely engraved pattern leading to a plain band made in 18 carat yellow gold.
