This fabulous vintage 1960's sapphire and diamond cocktail ring is a creation of the french jewellers Chaumet. The vivid deep blue sapphires are oval and circular cut totalling 1.93 carats. Asymmetrically set from a spray of marquise cut and round brilliant cut diamonds totalling 0.85 carat. The beautiful white diamonds graded as H / I colour Vs / Si clarity. All the stones are claw set above an open basket gallery leading to a finely crafted twisted shoulder. All made in platinum with French control marks. Makers mark and signed 'Chaumet Paris'.
